The bodies of the Ferrari 275 GTS were built directly at the Pininfarina workshops in Turin, then completed with all the necessary fittings and sent to Ferrari.
The mechanical parts were installed at Maranello.
The bodywork of this two-seater Spider, also built in rare cases with a third seat, had a very different design to its 275 GTB “sister” with features such as gentle curves and an ultra-classic allure.
The 275 GTS model was unveiled together with the 275 GTB at the 1964 Paris Motor Show and marked Ferrari’s return after at least two years to an open top.
