Our Ferrari Dino 206 S chassis 028 was recently presented in the D category of the Villa d’Este 2025 Concours d’Elegance.
The car’s bodywork was restored by Brandoli in 2016-2018, together with Edi Wyss Engineering, the restoration workshop we have worked with for over 40 years now.
The owner family asked asked Egidio and Roberto Brandoli for a refined restoration to return the bodywork to the design originally created by Piero Drogo.
Conceived for both circuit and hillclimbing races, the first owner of the Ferrari Dino 206 S was Eduardo Lualdi Gabaldi, an Italian racing driver specialised in hillclimbs, who was also a racetrack winner. He is a figure who is perhaps underappreciated in Ferrari History. And he always raced with Ferraris he owned himself.
In 1967 with the Ferrari Dino 206 S, he won the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship after eleven circuit races.
