The Ferrari 250 GT 2+2, universally known as the 250 GTE, was the first four-seater mass-produced by Ferrari. Designed by Pininfarina, it is an example of classic, refined style and offers the ultimate level of driving pleasure and interior comfort achievable in a car with a clear sports heritage.
Pininfarina based its design on the chassis of the 250 GT Coupé, with a wheelbase of 2600 mm. But it changed the body, lengthening it by 300 mm and widening it by 60 mm. This increased its weight by just 80 kg.
The result was a car with an extremely elegant, cutting-edge, streamlined profile.
