The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show and the public adored it immediately. Compared to the 250 GT Berlinetta SWB or California Spider, this model is larger and more luxurious.
It was specifically designed to be a higher-class Gran Turismo for both the European and US markets.
The line designed by Pininfarina was built, like many other Ferraris from this period, at the Carrozzeria Scaglietti bodyshop in Modena.
During its 1962-1964 production period, the model’s bodywork changed very little.
It has a sports car design and timeless style that sits between racing and luxury automobile production.
