Roberto Brandoli was one of the professional restorers recently called by Dr. Adolfo Orsi to be part of the jury for the 25th edition of the Concours d’Elégance Trofeo Salvarola Terme, on June 7th and 8th in Modena.
Roberto, together with the other members of the jury, inspected and assessed the originality, authenticity and state of conservation of the 64 cars in the competition. The event also invited as a special guest, Ferrari Club Italia, a club for owners of cars produced before 2000.
The awards ceremony was held in the magnificent Piazza Roma, in the centre of Modena, in front of the splendid Palazzo Ducale.
The main awards
- The Best of Show was awarded to Giuseppe Brevini’s 1954 Ferrari 750 Monza
- The Best of Ferrari was awarded to Giovanni Venturelli’s 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO.
- Gian Paolo Bursi’s 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC was awarded a distinction in the 1960s sports cars category.
- And Eraldo Pedrielli’s 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE was awarded a distinction in the Family Ferrari category.
The event and its location
The Concours d’Elégance Trofeo Salvarola Terme competition is organised by Terme della Salvarola e la Terra delle Rosse and Terme della Salvarola Spa in collaboration with the Ferrari Museums, Ferrari Club Italia, the Municipalities of Sassuolo, Modena, Maranello, Fiorano Modenese and Formigine, the Modena Chamber of Commerce, BPER Banca, the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar Consortium, Basf Glasurit and ACI Modena.
